Lawrence {+} Christina | Oklahoma City Wedding Video | The Montellano

Lawrence and Christina Sanders were married on September 23, 2017 at the Montellano in Oklahoma City. This beautiful wedding captured the love of this couple perfectly.

Lawrence and Christina met via mutual friends in 2014 at St. Patrick's Day weekend festivities. She loved his sense of humor and his kind heart. He fell in love with her benevolence, compassion, honesty, loyalty and unconditional love. Lawrence proposed to Christina in 2015 on Christmas Eve. It was just the two of them, and felt so intimate and perfect.

When Christina began planning their big day, it all began with the dress. The gown she found has a wonderful vintage romantic look, and that became the theme for the wedding. Christina really wanted her wedding day to feel intimate, but a big party for her family and friends.

Christina's advice to other brides is "Don't sweat the small stuff. It's your wedding, make it what YOU. Incorporate the things that you both love."

Russell {+} Moriah | Oklahoma City Wedding Video | Clauren Ridge Winery

Story - Feature from Slow Fade Media and Weddings on Vimeo.

Russell & Moriah were married on August 26, 2017 at Clauren Ridge Winery in Edmond, OK.

Russell and Moriah has incredibly joyful personalities. When we met them for the first time, we just sat with them and talked and laughed. Their joy is so infectious, you can't help but laugh and smile with them!

Russell and Moriah met on a dating app. Russell's profile picture was him with a giraffe, which is Moriah's favorite animal. She messaged him asking how he managed to get so close to a giraffe, and they just hit it off!

Moriah fell in love with so many of Russell's qualities. "He is incredibly patient with me, he always gives me space when I need it (I'm an introvert, so sometimes I need space to energize). He is amazing with Zeke, he's the best dad I could have ever dreamed of for him. He's such a great communicator, and he's handsome! He is such a great leader for us in our relationship with God. It wasn't one thing that made me fall for him, but so many qualities that made me fall in love with Russell."

Russell said he fell for Moriah because of her love for people, and her relationship with God. "She was always real with me, just who she is. Plus, I thought she was cute!"

Russell & Moriah were planning a day at the zoo with Zeke and Russell's niece and nephew. They all stopped to feed the giraffes. After they got finished feeding them, Russell asked Moriah to take a look at the photos he'd taken. The very last photo in the group was of Russell holding a sign that said "Will you marry me?". When Moriah turned to him, he was down on one knee.

When planning their wedding, Russell and Moriah wanted a day filled with much fun as possible. They were inspired by their love for one another, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Moriah chose a hot pink and kelly green color palette to reflect their fun atmosphere, and just wanted everyone to dance and celebrate!

Moriah's advice to bride's planning their wedding is just to relax, and not sweat the small stuff! Do as much as possible ahead of time. Just remember, at the end of the day, your get to marry the love of your life, and that is what it is about!

Preston {+} Rachel | Tulsa Wedding Video | The Springs Tulsa

Olmstead Feature from Slow Fade Media and Weddings on Vimeo.

Preston & Rachel were married on August 6, 2017 at the Springs Event Venue near Tulsa, OK.

We met Rachel about 3 weeks before her wedding day. She had hired another videography company, and they went out of business. We were available on her date, and things just fell into place. Rachel was so calm and easy going about the whole situation, I know I wouldn't have been. We knew instantly that it was going to be a great day.

Preston and Rachel met in college. Rachel played softball and Preston played baseball. Rachel was drawn to Preston because of his huge, caring heart and his Godliness.

Preston took Rachel out to dinner at Red Lobster on October 21, 2016. After dinner, he drove Rachel out by the lake, to their favorite picnic spot. Rachel said "That simple Friday suddenly became the moment that I have been dreaming about since the first day I met Preston."

Rachel says "Preston compliments me in every aspect of my life. I am so so blessed to have him in my life. He is the most hard working, selfless, and kind person I have ever met. I have been praying for the man that would one day be my husband since I was a little girl, and Preston is so much more than I could have ever imagined. He pushes me to be a better person, he chooses to love me, even when it's not easy. He is my favorite forever."

Rachel envisioned a day that was full of family and fun! They were drawn to the Springs in Tulsa because of it's location overlooking the Skiatook Lake. Preston and Rachel love being on the water, so this location was a perfect spot.

The only thing Rachel says she would have done differently is ask for more help. But, she wanted to remind other brides that things are going to happen that are out of your control. Such as losing your videographer 3 weeks before the wedding! "Don't sweat those things because at the end of the day, all that matters is that you married the love of your life!"

Kyle {+} Kayla | Oklahoma City Wedding Video | The Grand Canadian Theatre

Sweeney - Feature from Slow Fade Media and Weddings on Vimeo.

Kyle & Kayla were married on July 3, 2017 at the Grand Canadian Theatre in Purcell, OK.

Kyle and Kayla met when his family moved to town when Kayla was in 8th grade. Kayla and Allyson, Kyle's sister, became best friends almost instantly. Since Kayla and Allyson were best friends, Kyle and Kayla ended up spending a lot of time together, and she always thought he was cute, but Kyle was older, and wasn't interested in his little sister's friend.

Around the time that Kayla was deciding where to go to college, she and Kyle had been texting and chatting on Facebook off and on. However, Kayla decided to play college softball in Omaha, NE, and she had no interest in dating someone long distance. Throughout that year, she came home several times, and each time, found herself hanging out with Kyle.

After Kayla's freshman year was over, she felt like Omaha was not the right place for her, and wanted to move back home to play for SNU. With this move, it allowed Kyle and Kayla to spend more time together, and before they knew it, they were going on lots of dates. Pretty soon, Kyle asked Kayla to officially be his girlfriend, and she, of course, said yes.

Their first official date after Kyle asked her to be his girlfriend, he picked her up from her parent's house, and instead of just sending her a text to come outside, he actually walked to the front door to get her. That was the first moment Kayla thought to herself "I love him."

For Valentine's Day, Kyle planned a date in Bricktown: a nice dinner at KD's. They weren't hungry yet when they got to Bricktown, so they decided to wander around Bass Pro Shops and the Bricktown canal. They stopped to sit down several times, since Kayla's shoes were making her feet hurt. At one of their stops, Kyle slid down on one knee and asked Kayla to spend the rest of her life with him. She was so suprised that she cried and hugged him so tight. That moment was such a blur, that neither are certain if she actually said yes!

Kayla has envisioned wearing cowboy boots with her wedding dress since she was old enough to realize that she would grow up and get married some day. She wanted to show off her girly side, but also wear her boots- a little bit rustic, but not too country, "boots & bling" was her inspiration. She wanted a fun, special and beautiful day filled with family and friends celebrating with her and Kyle. She used navy, dark red and shiny neutrals (gold, rose gold, etc.)

Kayla's advice to other brides is to have fun during the planning process! Make memories from every second that you spend on your special day. Don't worry or be anxious about it. She said her favorite bible verse has guided her through this process: "Do not be anxious about anything." -Philippians 4:6
