Jamin {+} Kaylee | OKC Wedding Video | Crossing Community Church

Kaylee and Jamin were married on July 16, 2016 at Crossings Community Church. A reception followed at Southwest Christian University. Jamin and Kaylee had us laughing from the moment we met them. It's so obvious these two have so much fun together, all the time.

Kaylee and Jamin met at Southwest Christian University, but they really became friends on a mission trip to Guatemala. The girls on the trip needed to be accompanied into town by a guy, so when Kaylee went to the market, she took her "bartering buddy" with her, Jamin. 2 years go by and they both were working for Residence Life at Southwest Christian, so they were spending more time together. Kaylee fell in love with Jamin's loving personaility and his ability to make every situation more fun. Jamin was drawn to Kaylee because of her values and what she stood for.

Jamin proposed on October 20, 2015. It was Kaylee's parent's 26th wedding anniversary and Kaylee and her mom planned, cleaned and cooked for their "anniversary party." As it turns out, Jamin set the whole thing up to propose to Kaylee! He took Kaylee into her backyard where all her family and friends were waiting. He read her a poem he had written about wanting to spend their lives together and then popped the question. Of course, she said yes

When Kaylee started planning their wedding, she didn't want to look back in 20 years and ask wonder "What was I thinking?" with her decor and color choices. So, she wanted to choose timeless ideas. In addition to that, she wanted the whole day to be God-honoring and a whole lot of fun!

Kaylee said that she would tell a future bride to find the things that you absolutely cannot compromise on and plan those things first. Then, accommodate the other ideas (and the rest of your budget) around those things. Kaylee also said try to cherish the moments in your engagement!

So many of Jamin and Kaylee's friends and family are so musical! So look for all the special musical moments during the video- there's one in the ceremony, and then her mom sings a song to Kaylee and Jamin during the reception too!

We have loved getting to know Kaylee and Jamin, and getting to capture their big day. We hope you enjoy their video!

Daniel {+} Morgan | OKC Wedding Video | Boathouse District

Daniel and Morgan were married June 5, 2016 in the boathouse district in Downtown Oklahoma City. Daniel and Morgan are such a sweet, god centered couple, and we had a blast working with them.

Morgan and Daniel met at a community group through their church. Morgan says that if their church didn't have the community fellowship they have, she and Daniel wouldn't be where they are today. Morgan said that as their relationship went on, they both realized that they were both romantics, Christ-centered, persevering, hard working, people serving, and that their love would never end.

Daniel proposed by tricking Morgan into coming to his office. When she arrived she was totally surprised because the building was lined with lights that created a pathway that led straight to Daniel. She found him at the end of the path playing a song he wrote for her. After he finished playing the song, he got down on one knee and proposed. She was so overwhelmed with the beautiful details, she didn't even notice at first! But, she said yes, and they went out to celebrate with family and friends after.

When Morgan and Daniel started planning their wedding, they wanted to combine their stylistic upbringings. Daniel was raised in the city, and Morgan was raised in a small town. So they wanted to combine the modern, clean lines of the boathouses with rustic colors and shapes of nature and the woods. They were inspired by bold colors, beautiful architecture and Oklahoma's natural beauty.

Morgan's advice to future brides is to remember that the marriage is what your wedding day is about, not the flowers and food. Invest more time and money into your marriage than your wedding.

Be sure to look for the amazing aerial views of the river and the boathouses, and also for Daniel's killer dance moves!

We absolutely loved capturing all the moments of Morgan and Daniel's day, and we hope you love their video.

Austin {+} Julie| OKC Wedding Video | Petroleum Club

Austin and Julie were married on June 11, 2016 at First Church in Downtown Oklahoma City. Their reception was at the Petroleum Club of Oklahoma City. When we met Julie and Austin, we knew this wedding would be one for the books. They both has so much style! And we could just tell how much they loved each other.

Julie and Austin were introduced by Julie's "Little" in her sorority, Madison. Julie needed a date for the spring formal in 2014. Austin was in Madison's sociology class. Madison gave Julie's number to Austin, and they started texting and making plans for the formal. (There might have been some Facebook stalking too!) When Austin finally met Julie for the first time the night of the formal, he knew he wanted to spend more time with her. They talked non-stop on the way to the formal, and by the time they arrived, Julie knew Austin was special. For two weeks, they spent a lot of time studying and hanging out. Austin knew he couldn't let Julie go, so he took her on a date and he asked her to be his girlfriend. Julie and Austin really bonded over their passion for Soonerthon, benefitting Oklahoma City Children's Hospital. Austin proposed by at Vast, on the 49th floor of the Devon town in downtown Oklahoma City. After Julie said yes, Austin had 50 friends and family waiting to celebrate with them at Julie's parent's house.

When Julie started planning their wedding, she started with her flowers. She picked her favorite ones, and then built the rest of her day around that. She wanted the day to be passionate, blissful and romantic. She was inspired by Kate Spade and used stripes and pinks, but also wanted dark red and gold mixed in for a timeless feel.

Julie's advice to future brides would be to hire a planner and know how to use spreadsheets! She and her planner had a Google Doc they shared that covered her budget, guest tracker, and ALL her details. Organization is key! Julie said "don't be afraid to meet with as many vendors as you need to. Compare prices and make sure your personalities mesh well!"

Don't miss Austin's adorable reaction when he sees Julie for the first time as she's coming down the aisle. Talk about a man in love, he couldn't take his eyes off of her all day. They also had a live band at the reception- what a treat! Keep an eye out for the pink, sparkly guitar!

We absolutely loved capturing all the moments of Julie and Austin's day, and we hope you love their video.

Michael {+} Stephanie | OKC Wedding Video | IAO Art Gallery

Stephanie {+} Michael | OKC Wedding Video | IAO on Film Row from Slow Fade Media and Weddings on Vimeo.

We got to shoot Stephanie and Michael's big day on June 4th at the IAO Art Gallery in Oklahoma City. Stephanie was so fun to work with from the very beginning. She was just glowing and so happy all the time, and her love for Michael was obvious.

Stephanie and Michael met at a party with friends. They started talking and hanging out, and became best friends very fast. Stephanie says they fell in love with each others ambition and love for Michael's daughter, Haley. (Check her out in the video, she's so adorable!) Michael proposed by putting Stephanie's beautiful ring in her stocking on Christmas Morning in 2014.

When planning their special day, Stephanie and Michael envisioned a relaxed, romantic fun atmosphere that celebrated their true love. And FUN is definitely how we would describe her reception! Between the dancing, the photo booth, the pizza and the dessert bar, how could you not have the time of your life?

Stephanie's advice to other brides would be to relinquish control and delegate! And download the WeddingWire checklist EARLY! "Find a package. Don't pass those up! They may seem expensive, but DIY is a lot of work and it all adds up in the end."

Don't miss Hayley cutting it up on the dance floor in this video, that girl can DANCE! Also, the OKC ProAM bike race was happening on the day of their wedding, so look for the bikes in the background of a lot of their outside shots.

We adored capturing every moment of Stephanie and Michael's day, and we hope you love their video!
