Chris {+} Alex | Oklahoma City Wedding Video | The Montellano

Chris and Alex were married on June 9, 2018 at St. Eugene Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, OK. A reception followed at The Montellano.

Chris and Alex met while they worked for a daycare in college. Chris would throw balls at Alex on the playground, and tell all the kids she was his girlfriend. (Even though she wasn't...yet!) Alex said "It was the classic case of a playground crush."

Eventually his persistence paid off, and Alex went out with him. Over time, she fell for his kind heart, his humor and his mad dance skills. "He's always told me that his one goal is to make me happy. He's done that since day one."

When it came time to propose, Chris took Alex back to the site of their first date- the Sushi Bar. After lunch, they went home, and Alex fell asleep on the couch. She woke up to the sound of their doorbell ringing. When she answered the door, she found her family had made a surprise trip to Oklahoma! When she ushered them inside, she turned around to find Chris down on one knee. She, of course, said yes! Her family had champagne, and they celebrated.

When it came time to plan her wedding day, Alex wanted her day to feel summery. She chose blush, gold and sky blue to bring her vision to life. She wanted her day to reflect feelings of fun and romance, and create an atmosphere that her loved ones could enjoy themselves.

Her advice to other brides is "Get as much done as early as possible. Enjoy every moment and don't stress about the little things!"

Davis {+} Emily | Oklahoma City Wedding Video | Gaillardia Country Club

McDaniel - Feature (VIMEO) from Slow Fade Media and Weddings on Vimeo.

Davis & Emily McDaniel were married on September 30, 2017 at Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City, OK.

Davis and Emily met while they were students at the University of Oklahoma. They were on the same study abroad trip in Rome when they connected. Emily says "We hadn't gotten to know each other at OU, but we were part of a small group that became really close friends. This eventually led to a relationship after we got back to Norman."

Davis and Emily now live in New York City, and they have always talked about how to get into Manhattan's only private park, Gramercy Park. Davis managed to find a way in, and took Emily there. While they were there, he got down on one knee and proposed to Emily! Afterwards, he surprised her with a rooftop engagement party with their families and friends prepared to celebrate their big news!

During our meetings leading up to the big day, Emily talked about Gaillardia being really special to her. Her family spent a lot of time there growing up, so she instantly knew where she wanted her wedding to take place. She chose simple, elegant tones of charcoal and champagne to compliment the building's natural beauty. Then she added in colorful flowers to some fun!

Mark {+} Kristy | Norman Wedding Video | Thunderbird Chapel

Mark and Kristy Hampton were married on October 7, 2017 at Thunderbird Chapel in Norman, OK.

Mark and Kristy met online. Kristy had only been on the dating site a couple of weeks when she was matched with Mark. She remembers thinking how handsome she thought he was from his photos. When they met in person for the first time, she says "oh man, he was even more handsome in person!" They met and talked for hours. They didn't keep anything from each other, and felt connected immediately.

On their second date, they went to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur, OK. As Mark and Kristy spent the day hiking and getting to know each other better, Mark knew that Kristy would be in his life for a long time.

Mark and Kristy connected over their love for travel, their caring hearts and their commitment to each other.

Mark asked Kristy to go to the Metro for their 3 year anniversary, and recreated their first date! Mark went to the restroom, and when he came back, he surprised Kristy with a proposal!

See more of their love story here:

When thinking about their wedding day, Kristy envisioned a simple, elegant and cozy wedding that honored God. She chose elegant eggplant, lavendar and grey hues to bring her vision to life.

Kristy's advice to other brides is "Don't sweat the small stuff. Do the things that make you and your fiancee happy!"

Mat {+} Kelsi | Tulsa Wedding Video | Vesica Piscis Chapel

Owen - Highlight from Slow Fade Media and Weddings on Vimeo.

Mat and Kelsi Owen were married on October 28, 2017 at Vesica Piscis Chapel in Catoosa, OK.

Kelsi and Mat met during nursing school. They had a lot of their prerequisite classes together. "We passed our classes together and began nursing school together." While they were in nursing school, they experienced some of the hardest times they had ever been through. So many emotions and situations made them lean on each other. Kelsi says "I think we fell in love while seeing each other progress and grow, and helping each other progress and grow."

Kelsi and Mat's favorite meal is breakfast, so Mat took Kelsi to a new breakfast place in OKC, Hatch, on her birthday. He had planned a secret photographer to capture their proposal!

When thinking about their wedding day, Kelsi and Mat envisioned a big party with all their family and friends. Kelsi wanted a rustic theme, and used Navy, Ivory, Burlap and Burgundy.

Kelsi's advice to other brides is "Be prepared to make most of the decisions. Men really don't care that much about the planning, even if you think they do."
