Zach & Emilee were married on June 3, 2017 at the Woodward Conference Center. The weather was rainy off and on all day, but the whole wedding party were such great sports about it, and it cleared up just in time for photos outside!
Emilee met Zach in 2011 playing intramural softball. Shortly after that, she was working at the wellness center at NWOSU, which Zach used frequently. They had several mutual friends who also helped get them together.
Emilee says they fell in love because they just clicked! "We'd both been through a lot, and we just clicked from the beginning."
With their one year anniversary coming up, they planned at trip to Eureka Springs, AR. Zach wanted to golfing. On the last hole, Zach put down a ball for Emilee that said "Will you marry me?" She turned around, and he was on one knee!
Emilee and Zach wanted a fun atmosphere that her friends and family could celebrate with them. Emilee wanted her decorations to be unique, so she and her family made most all of the decorations.
Emilee said "So many other brides have told me to just enjoy my day, and I definitely agree! I'm going to try to enjoy my wedding weekend and the moments! I also have cherished planning with my mom, I wouldn't have changed it for the world!"
Emilee and Zach certainly had a fun atmosphere all day, especially at the reception!
